Incorporated in 2000, Castle & Cooke Commercial, Inc. handles office and retail management for the the companyʻs diversified commercial assetts, including The Shops at Dole Cannery and Castle & Cooke Aviation.
Shops at Dole Cannery
Dole Cannery is deeply ingrained in the history of Hawai‘i. It once played an integral role in the success of Dole Pineapple Company as it gave the company the ability to pack and ship pineapple to broad overseas markets, making Hawai‘i synonymous with the golden fruit.
Beautifully renovated and located minutes from downtown Honolulu and the airport, the yellow buildings of Dole Cannery today serve as a 700,000+ square foot office and retail complex that includes a broad mix of tenants, including retail stores and restaurants, government and medical services, and big-box stores such as Best Buy.

Castle & Cooke Aviation’s FBO is the premier general aviation facility and operation in Honolulu. If youʻre in need of hangar and/or office space in Honolulu, the facility offers turn-key solutions to meet just about every need.

Mililani Mauka Commercial A
As part of the Mililani master plan, various office and retail properties were planned and developed by Castle & Cooke to serve the needs of the growing Central Oʻahu community. Located along Meheula Parkway, the main thoroughfare serving Mililani, Mililani Mauka Commercial A is a 10,000 square foot office and retail complex that initially served as home to Castle & Cooke’s Mililani Sales Office, Recreation Center 5, and an additional office building.
With Mililani home sales completed in 2008, and the company’s new focus on its planned Koa Ridge community, Castle & Cooke eventually sold the property
Mililani Mauka Commercial B
The second phase of Castle & Cooke’s Mililani commercial development was Mililani Mauka Commercial B. Located on the opposite side of Meheula Parkway from Commercial A, Commercial B is a 72,000 square foot office and retail complex that is currently anchored by McDonald's, Long's Drugs, and Tesoro.
Similar to Commercial A, Mililani Mauka Commercial B was sold by Castle & Cooke in 2011 as part of the companyʻs plan to focus its efforts on future company initiatives.
Castle & Cooke Self Storage
Castle & Cooke developed, owned, and managed the LEED-certified Self-Storage Park until selling it in 2015. The companyʻs focus on sustainability is evident in the environmentally friendly storage facility that included:
- Solar roof tiles providing 60,000 kilowatt-hours of energy per year (50% of projected annual use)
- Compact-fluorescent bulbs and sensor lights
- Environmentally-friendly building materials
- Green housekeeping and recycling program
- “Green” parking for hybrid-electric or electric vehicles
